Connie Green : Founder, Co-owner & Studio Manager
Founder/owner and studio manager at Dance Obsessions, Connie’s vision to create a healthy, fun-filled dance studio for children has been a dream come true. Raising 4 children who had a passion for dance was not only exciting and rewarding, but she also has a great understanding and appreciation for parent concerns, investments and dedication. Heading administration, Connie manages costume coordination, office admin, and all events for Dance Obsessions, along with keeping current in the dance business; researching competitions and being every students biggest fan! For the last 25 years, she has toured the country with her children, landing in places such as LA, Las Vegas, Wichita, New York, Florida, and all along the eastern seaboard. Connie and her husband, Jim, journeyed through the years traveling with their kids to dance competitions, auditions, master workshops, shows and conventions, supporting their dancers every step of the way.
As their children grew into adulthood, the next step seemed inevitable. It seemed like the most natural progression for them all, from learning the craft of dance, honing the world of the competitive circuit, becoming teachers, and evolving to open Dance Obsessions. As studio owner, Connie’s likable personality makes it easy for students and parents to communicate with her, whether an issue arises, or just to joke around to keep the energy light in the studio… and as she raised her own children as dancers, she now raises her entire body of students as dancers.
